  • 一、通过示范讲解法学习英语诗歌 
            英语诗歌浩如烟海,篇幅长短不一。高中学生刚刚开始接触英语诗歌,为使大家了解英语诗歌,并能较好地欣赏,少不了教师的示范讲解。教师可以从意象、语法、音韵以及主题等不同的层面入手,一步步地引导学生学会欣赏一首诗歌。同时也让他们懂得读诗必须仔细,不放过诗中应有之意,更不放过 。
    二、通过诗歌内容和形式的比较学习英语诗歌 
            人教课标版教材选修6 Unit 2介绍了几种不同内容和形式的诗歌。教师可引导学生讨论这些诗歌的内容、形式,让学生了解诗歌的一些基本特征和写作方法,并自己尝试写简单的诗歌,同时学会欣赏优美的文学作品言外之意。
    三、通过对诗歌与散文的比较来学习英语诗歌 
            在理解诗歌有困难时,我们常常把它翻译成散文。诗歌与散文最明显的区别在于:诗歌有明显强烈的节奏。诗歌可以不押韵,但总是有节奏的。诗歌的魅力在很大程度上取决于它的节奏。当然,押韵也是诗歌与散文区别的重要标志。押韵使诗歌和谐、优美、富于音乐感,给读者感官上的满足,使读者在朗读的过程中产生美的共鸣。
            四、通过意象比较来学习英语诗歌 
            意象是诗人的感官接触事物,经过幻想、加工、创造,从生活真实到艺术真实的形象。意象是一个个表意的典型物象,是主观之象,是可以感知的,是实在的、具体的。意象或意象的组合构成意境,意象是构成意境的手段或途径。正确地把握意象和意境需要想象,即形象思维。这就是说,在文学创作中,总是意象在先,意境在后。是先有一个个意象在作者的脑子里,然后组合融化为一种意境。 
            同样是描写春天,中国的一首唐诗《春晓》展现的则是另一个意象,同样精彩。 
                    春晓 
            A Spring Morning 
            春眠不觉晓, 
            I awake light-hearted this morning of spring, 
            处处闻啼鸟。 
            Everywhere round me the singing of birds. 
            夜来风雨声, 
            But now I remember the night, the storm, 
            花落知多少。 
            And I wonder how many blossoms were broken. 
            我们中国的唐诗因为意象、意境的优美,越来越受到外国读者的喜爱,很多诗都被翻译成英文。《春晓》一诗中,作者孟浩然通过春天的早晨自己一觉醒来后瞬间听到的屋外处处“鸟儿的欢鸣”和朦胧中曾听到的一阵“风雨声”,联想到“花落知多少”,捕捉典型的春天气息,表达自己喜爱春天又隐含着诗人对春光流逝的淡淡哀怨以及无限遐想。这首诗之所以深受人们喜爱,除了语言明白晓畅、音调朗朗上口之外,还在于它所展现的意象贴近生活,情景交融而又意味隽永。
        在高中英语课堂上,诗歌授课方式多种多样,还可以通过朗诵、听配乐原声朗读、英汉互译的诗歌翻译训练等形式,丰富高中英语课堂的内涵。

    1.教材分析This Unit mainly focuses on poems.The aim is to let the Ss enjoy the beauty in poems. Therefore they need to know some basic knowledge in poetry, such as the forms of poems, the characteristics. With this basis, we can promote the Ss’ emotional development.
    2.学情分析
    The Ss have read a lot of Chinese poems. This cultural foundation can make them understand “rhythm, rhyme” easily. On the other hand, the Ss need broadern their horizon in English poems. This lesson can give them a rough but systematic knowledge of English poems.
